For most people, get the Amazon Kindle. It's inexpensive, simple, and has the strongest mainstream ebook ecosystem. If you don't want to enter the Amazon ecosystem and want Android apps and multiple reading platforms you can get the BOOX Go 6. Choose the Bigme B6 if color matters. And if portability is your priority, the Xteink X4 Pro is exceptionally small. You can also attach it to the back of your phone.
